Defense Minister of Vietnam urges states to share responsibility for peace
At the 13th IISS Asian Security Summit on 31 May, Vietnam’s Defense Minister, General Tanh, delivered a speech stating – according to Vietnam Breaking News – that in order to manage risks that may cause disputes, all countries should share the same perspective on international responsibilities.
Talk Vietnam reports that Defense Minister Tanh, while underlining the role and importance of major powers in safeguarding the common aspirations of all nations in the world, expressed the conviction that all countries should share the same duty of preserving an environment of peace, stability and respect for international law, the UN Charter and independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of others.
